Is there a product I can purchase that I can spray on my engine to prevent corrosion and get rid of salt buildup on my engine under the cowling?

I use WD-40 or similar and a toothbrush to clean and leave an oily protective film on motor parts under the cowling. Spray your tilt/trim rams, motor and pump with white Lithium Grease, sets up a good protective coating on all surfaces to keep saltwater off. Yamaha makes a spray can of "Corrosion Protectant" that I've used, but it's pretty near the same as the grease and costs more$$$....

I think your looking for CRC 6-56. Great stuff.

The corrosion inhibitors like CRC Heavy Duty inhibitor or Boesheild are just to thick to be spraying all over everything

First spray it down with salt away or equivalent
