115hp 4 stroke cutting off

I have a '06 yamaha 115 hp 4 stroke w/900 trouble free hours on it, last 3 weeks it will cut off at speed or idle. Some times will restart with WOT sometimes it will need to sit for 15 min. Changed fuel, fuel filter, plugs, ignition/safety switch. some times when it cuts off at 3,000 rpm the tach falls rapidly to zero. when it dies there is no sputtering, some times it will pick right back up. I supect electrical issues, but I need guidance. I am an ASE master tech on cars, but clueless about outboards. Thanks.
P. S. It is always run in fresh water.

Thank you, I have fuel pressure gauge, what is spec? as for a computer how do I hook it up? I am used to OBD-II on cars. Can I pull codes w/a test light?
