  • Warning Buzzer

SX200TXRA warning buzzer stays on continually when the key switch is in the ON postion. Start the engine buzzer stops, engine runs fine. Oil levels in both tanks at fill line and temp ok. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not one hundred percent postive but I think that's how it's suppose to wiork. Every time you turn the key on it's testing your warning buzzer. If it didn't do that how would you know he buzzer was working with out physicaly testing the buzzer?

Some motors had a low voltage alarm, bad connection at fuse caused problems.
Once motor is up and running it brings voltage up.
Just a thought to look for something.
Single motor set ups do not alarm like that normally

does it have water detector in filter?
If not then check all fuses for corrosion

Twin engine key switch has engine stall warning, if one engine shuts off set off an alarm, has a control module on back side of switch panel that could be bad, if the control module is bad may be cheaper to buy complete switch panel than replacing module.

Are you refering to the red ring in the fuel filter?

I believe he has a better knowledge on this set up, pay attention to his posts.

I was asking if you have wires coming from filter float mechanism that activates when water is in filter.
