synch engines

i have twin 2008 4 stroke 250 hp.the stardboard engine at 5000 rpm`s is sucking 2.5 gallons more fuel.

could someone please help or give me some advice

its broke.
dont mess with it.
it uses an electronic throttle .
has both throttle lever position sensors and a throttle position sensor.
takes a laptop and a tech with an understanding of the system.
