Newbie to Yamaha here. Looking to see what luck others have had with the 2008 model year 70 TLR two stroke. There are a few new ones still around. They have some good pricing on them. I don't want to purchase a maintance or unreliable engine.

My experience with the Yamaha 2 strokes has been excellent, having owned a 4HP, a 40HP, a 115HP, and presently a 90HP, which I bought new in 1999. Their maintenance is fairly easy, simple(I can do it and straightforward. Good to buy a Yamaha Manual for your motor and study up some on the details. Keep clean, fresh fuel in it and you should get great service! Good Luck!
