Hi Guys;
I have a 1990 yamaha 70hp, i have 2 of them on a cat hull rubber duck. the one engine runs beautifully but the other one dies completely at high rpm, when i put the boat flat out on the plane, i had the carbs cleaned and set according to the book as well as the timing so its not that, its not fuel problem as i primed the primer bulb whilst going flat ot and it still did the same thing. the engine just dies completely.
If i only run the problematis motor and put it under full load it is fine, it only happenes when both motors are runnng and the boat is at top speed, if i throttle back a bit to about 70 percent then the motor runs perfectly, i have put new fuel lines as well as re done all the wiring. I also disconnected the loom when the motor was started nd it did the same.
Any Suggestions would help greatly.
Thanks
Shane
