digital yamaha tachometer gauge

Hey

im new to the boat seen and have no idea. I bought new tachometer digital gauge when i put power to it the only things that come up on screen are oil bar, trim bar and a number 1. I do not see any RPM digits at all. When i press mode button nothing happens. Hope this make sense please help

Check that it is correct tach for your model motor, check that dip switches in back of tach are set correctly for your motor.
List model of your motor and part number of tach.
