compression testing w/o O2 sensor on mtr.

Can you test cylinder compression with the O2 sensor removed from the motor, and if so, do you recommend all plugs removed and WOT for the test? Thank You.

all plugs removed, disable the fuel and ign system.
throttle position is rather irrelavent on a two stroke.
