The choke knob on my little outboard popped off when I had my hand off it and we hit a wave. I would have thought it would have simply snapped back on since the knob has 2 notches (one on either side), but the stem that it connects to moves in further in the housing of the motor, so I can't pop the notches over the stem.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a certain position I need to rotate the stem to, in order to keep it static and not move in further?
Hate to have to take it somewhere for such a simple problem...
