2003 -250HP-HPDI Adding NEMA Engine Outputs

2003 HPDI, is it possible to add the MAR-GTWAY-09 with 000-0120-37 Adapter. I have the Yamaha Digital Gauges, but not Command Link. It looks like from this site: http://continuouswave.com/whaler/ref...Connection.pdf

It might be doable. But wanted to be sure before I bought the parts.

Would this then replace my current gauge function?

The Yamaha 6y5 and 6y7 digital gauges are not nmea 2000 compatible to the best of my knowledge. you would need the 2006 engine harness with the command link white connectors to do this with a different device.

No motors 2006 and newer are NMEA 2000 compatable but not earlier models.
