Checking Motors for Manu. Recalls

Hey guys whats the best way to find out if any updates or recalls have been done on your motors. I figured I could just call yamaha but I was wondering if there was a way to do it online. I can't really say I've had any good experiences with yamaha's customer service.

check with your local Yamaha dealer, they can look it up for you

Yamaha has an app for that, go to Home | Yamaha Outboards and under Owners Resources can see a list of Recalls, if you get the app you can enter your serial number and get information on it.
