tilt/Trim Gage Problems

I have a 2006 Yahama f115hp with the comand gague set up. The trim /tilt gague is stuck on the higest trim up poisiton and the last bar is blinking. The tilt and trim on the motor is functioning fine. The owners manaula says I have exceeded th e trim limit. I have done the following
1. Ram the motor up and down to the trim limits several times- the motor trim up and down to the full extent and pump runs fine. .
2. Discionnected the battereis


What can I do to reset this gague?

Check the trim sender on outboard bracket and trim cam on tilt tube to see if stuck, broken or working properly.
