Questions about a F9.9B

My sailboat came with 2002 9.9 motor. I am trying to determine if

1) it can charge my battery, and

2) if I can put an electric strart on it.

Appreciate any assistance with these questions.

We don't have manuals or parts list for that model, if it's same as US models would have to compare parts list to an electric start model and buy all electric start components to convert over, there are no conversion kits available.
