F150 - How to test Alert Buzzer

F150 manufactured November 2010, analog gauges, no warning lights - How can I test the alert buzzer? There is no test sound when the engine is started and I have no idea if the buzzer actually works. Where is the buzzer actually located. under the helm area or on the engine?

I have both an owner's manual and a Yamaha service manual and cannot find the answer to my questions.
