Hi I have an issue with the overheat alarm on a waverunner fx140.Does anybody know if the thermo sensor assy on the exhaust should be normally open or normally closed. Mine was very corroded and tests out in the normally closed position. If I disconnect it the temp alarm disappears. Water seems to be flowing throughout the engine, and no signs of heat apart from the alarm. Just wondering if it may be a faulty sensor. Thanks for reading.
