I have a 1998Yamaha 150 vmax carbs, my oil pump went out and It burned up a bearing that chewed up my crank. Now I need a new crank but need the model number to order the crank. my numbers got faded off is their another way of getting them

Look on engine block to see has an round aluminum plug with serial number stamped in it.

That serial number is a 1998 dual prop 150 model, model number D150TLRW

I'm starting to guess its not the same lower unit I have a single prop do you think the crank is the same as the others

Yes crankshaft would be same.
