Quick Silver in a Yamaha?

The previous owner has been running Quick Silver oil in the boat I just bought. He left me almost a full gallon. Is there any reason not to continue using the remainder of the gallon? I would prefer Yamalube (I think thats what its called) - I'd switch over when the gallon is finished to if there are no issues.

Using QuickSilver is ok to use with the Yamaha motor. However, If you do choose to go back to using the Yamaha Oil then think of it like your car and be sure to drain all the oil from the motor prior to adding or using Yamalube. You should have no problems.
