New to this Forum can any one help we have bought used 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke ex long shaft for our small fishing boat. We require tiller fitment for 1996 6G8 as it is remote. Finding it very hard to find used tiller is there any other Yamaha outboard that has the same fitment for tiller. Seems in UK most 9.9 4 stroke are used on sailing boats and do not have tillers. My 22 year old son is a commerical fisherman and has just bought boat 3 months ago .
so he cant afford to buy new unit which is £410.00 about $600.
