Possible Cause

2002 SW200 OX66....found small amount of what looks like gear oil in exhust hub of prop....Any ideas of what the cause might be?

smell it, lower unit lube is easy to detect by its smell.
And check for water and proper level in lower unit.
Pull prop and look for fishing line around shaft that can wipe out the shaft seals
