1995 115 Just cuts off

I have a 1995 115 CXT outboard that is just shutting down for no apparant reason. had the CDI checked out and it is good. Can be just running down the water and it will shutdown and then not start back.

Any suggestions? thanks

is it loosing spark or is it fuel related?
How did you test CDI?
Was it tested when it would not start?

I do not think it is fuel related due to it just quits running does not bog down or anything it is like it is losing spark. Had the cdi checked out by a Yamaha tech and he is stumped

unless you test when problem is there you will not know what is going on.
Need to have spark tester or a timing light with you when it shuts down to see if plugs are getting spark.
Find the kill wire that comes from key and safety switch at CDI so you can disconnect it when problem shows up to see if one of those or the wiring to them is bad.
Then it is checking the inputs and out puts ( peak Voltages) of CDI if still no spark
