No one I have talked to will tell me why the 30 amp. fuse for the ECM, injectors and 3 other systems, is blowing on the motor. When it blows the motor will turn over but not start. First time was on a 2011 250hp SHO I class Skeeter last Wen, at the Railroad Tournament. Next one was the 2011 FX 21 Skeeter with a 250hp SHO, my fishing partner has that we were fishing out of at O.H.Ivie last Sunday. Thats 2 in 5 days.

How about something is pulling to many amps.
Trouble shoot the devices and see what is pulling to much -
This single 30 amp fuse has systems that cannot be checked with an amp meter, without isolating them in the wiring harness. Do`nt think the owners want to start taking the wiring harness apart. Someone else has had to have this happen. I saw it on 2 different boats in 5 days.Comment

Take them to a dealer to be checked for water leaks and total amp draw, it can be done without taking harness apart. Dealer will contact Yamaha and if there is a problem Yamaha will resolve it.Comment

If it was`nt 250 miles to a dealer with a certified Yamaha mechanic that would be great. If it is blowing a fuse I would say something is pulling too many amps and to locate the circuit pulling too many amps you will have to isolate the curcuits to find it. Their is 5 or 6 different systems on the 30 amp fuse that is blowing. I am a certified mechanic with 46 years experience. I figured other mechanics had hit this. I have a call in to Yamaha.
