1987 50 hp PRO LH

I would like to disconnect my oil injection system,the pump has become unreliable. I'm mixing 50/1 ratio in the gas tank. Do I need to completely remove metering pump,if so how do I cover hole that has gear that drives the pump? Is there a kit made for this? Does the carb need adjusted after this change?

Yamaha doesn't offer oil pump block off plates or plugs to cap off injection ports, may be some available in aftermarket parts but I'm not aware of any.
