In have a 2002 115TLR and want to install a trim gauge. The pink and black wire coming out of the trim sensor go to a four prong plug on the starboard side of the engine. My local dealer told me to tie into the pink wire and connect it to the sensor pole on the gauge. I don't like cutting into harness wiring. Does Yamaha make a harness to add a trim gauge? If so, what is the part number?
Also, there is a gray wire coming out of the 4 prong plug where the pink and black wire for the trim sensor are located. It has a male end on it and is not plugged into anything. What is it for? The wiring diagram shows it pluggining into a wire that is gray with a black stripe.
