50H and 50G (2-stroke)

Hi everyone!

I'm wondering when Yamaha's 50hp "H" and 50hp "G" engines were made?
From year - to year

The H model is a 698 cm3 3-cyl.
The G model is a 849 cm3 3-cyl.

Both were produced parallel to eachother, but what years?


Are the parts with numbers starting with "62x" for the H or G model?

If you are talking about the H and G being last letter of outboard model number then the H is 1987 model and g is a 1988 model
