Yamaha F4A Cutting out

Hello

My auxiliary F4A, which has a had very little use, starts (reluctantly), runs for 30/40 seconds and then cuts out, and will not restart. Does anyone have any ideas?

Check compression, check for spark at spark plug, may need to remove and clean carb and gas tank.
