Marine Glue for *****ing motor shaft

I am rebuilding my *****ing motor. And need waterproof adhesive for the *****ing motor shaft to the new motor housing (at the prop - shaft is composite material). (to be used in saltwater) I was told to use LocTite #661. Over $100 per bottle. ***. Any alternatives that are a little more reasonable price wise? Thank you for your help.......

Maybe that 3M 5200 Marine Cement would work there?
