When I try to lift the engine , it will not go up. It sounds if the lift is working properly when I push the down button, but it is all the way down , so there is no movement. Just the motor sound. It will not go up when I push the up button. I can hear the relay #6H1-81950-01-00 click when I press the down button. I see that there is also a circuit breaker in the lift it self#CS3-82181-00-00 Which one of these parts would cause the motor into the lift position ?

Have you tried trim switch on controls and switch on motor cowling? should have 12 volts at small blue wire at trim relay when trimming up, if not then trim switch or wiring is bad.

Yamaha 50 four stroke
I checked the voltage on both wires. The blue wire had 12 volts so I tried the other with and it did not have any voltage on up or down. But then the lift started to work on the up switch on both the throttle switch and the engine toggle
