Hi, I'm looking at buying a used 2003 90TLRB Yamaha. I have not seen it yet, but the owner tells me that a shop reccomended to him that he disconnect the oil injection and mix his fuel. He had the shop doe the work and always mixed the oil. I have been happy with oil injection on my 60TLRB, so I would like to have it working.
My question is, if a reputable shop bypassed or disabled the oil injection and charged $25 for the work, what would they have done? The seller belives that it is easily reversible. What should I look for?
I see that some remove the drive shaft and others talk about plugging the oil lines.
Thanks
