  • F115 best prop?

What would be the best propeller for my brand new 2011 F115 In-Line four stroke considering that it will be mounted on a 19ft runabout and that will be used by 4 adults mainly for skiing?

Can I order this item from your website?

You can find what you need here:

    Performance Bulletins | Yamaha Outboards

Probably a 17P, 19P max. The F115 has to be at the upper end of the rpm range at WOT or it will make oil.

        Hi,

        Another couple of questions:

What would be the difference between 3 and 4 blades?

The aluminum (white painted) props seem to fit my budget, are these good enough vs the more expensive steel ones?

        Thanks again!

Also, the 6E5-45945-01-00 mentioned in the performance bulletin link you mentioned seems to be designed to fit 150HP-300HP engines rather than 115HP according to a local seller?

Apologies to ask so many questions about props but I canīt still figure out whatīs best for my engine & boat.

Any advice will be highly appreciated.

here in sweden the F115 engine package include a Black steel prop,
i would say a 17" i the right if you usually go with 4 adults.
if you most of the time are going to use it for water sports, i would go for a 16-17" 4-blade(Turbo 2+2 is a good choice)

on my colleges Hydrolift T17, we use a ET lightening 26",
but thats another type of rigging
