  • just bought 2004 F150 motor, any recomendations?

Hey Guys.. I am very stoked right now, today I bought a 2004 New Yamaha F150 outboard motor. I was curious what people thought about this motor, and what guages I should get to best operate this engine with. thermostat? oil gauge? tachometer? Is there a guage which measures speed in knots? It would help with *****ing, keeping the spread kept at 8.5 knots. Not sure how to best accomplish this right now.
As you can tell, I'm a rookie. This is my first motor. Thanks for any advice.

I hear nothing but good things about the F150, I think you will like it. The 6YR-W0035-F1-00 multi function tach and speedo kit will give all that you want,It has tach, hour meter, trim gauge, low oil pressure and overheat light, speed, fuel gauge, volt meter, clock and trip meter the speedo can be set to read in knots.
