I just bought a new to me 1999 Saltwater Series II 200hp S200TXRX motor with 300 hours. The biggest problem I have is I was only able to purchase the motor, prop and oil tank. Everything else I am trying hunt down one piece at a time but am having difficulty finding the part numbers that I need. Here is a list of the parts the mechanic who took the motor off said I would need:
1. control box with 10 pin harness, throttle and shifter cables. Does the 6X0 flush mount controls work with the S200TXRX? I really hope they do as I currently have a flush mount OMC that I was hoping to just replace with the Yamaha one.
2. tilt and trim harness - doesn't this already come with the tach if you buy part number Yamaha 6YR-W0035-E1-00 Tachometer Gauge Kit?
3. yamaha digital tach and tack harness - I believe I need Yamaha 6YR-W0035-E1-00, since I have a 1999 model year outboard.
4. oil tank harness (I have complete tank, and bracket)
5. oil tank hose from tank to motor
Can anyone please direct me to a resource that can help me figure out what these part numbers are? Also, as I said, I basically need everything, so if I missed something, than please let me know. I am trying to find these myself as I am sure the mechanic would charge me $1000 easily for all this stuff if he ordered it. I am hoping I can get away with less than $700 dollars shipped.
