Yamaha speed o inop

My Yamaha speedometer read 22MPH and wouldn't change stayed on 22 even with engine off and boat on the trailer, as long as the key was on it read 22 MPH. After a few days it went back to zero,I ran the boat the next week and the speedo wouldn't move stayed on zero. Remove meter and clear hose from meter tried to blow into hose. Is there anything else that I can do to try and fix my 2010 Yamaha speedo ? Joe R

Need to clean out pick up hole on gearcase and check speedo hose for kinks.
