97 s250txry to 00 sxtxty lower end swap

I have a 97 S250TXRV with a perfect power head and a worn lower end. I also have a )2000 SX200TXRY with a blown power head and a brand new lower end. I would like to install the lower end from the 2000 SX200TXRY (lower end part# 64E-4300-21-8D) onto the 97 S250TXRV (lower end part # 65J-4300-20-8D). As far as I can tell the only difference is the size of the torpedo. The torpedo on the 250 is about 7/16 of an inch larger than the 200. not sure about gear ratio. Can any one tell me if this will interchange?????? Thanks!!!!!! Steve.

Never tried to swap them so not sure, the gear ratio on 250 is 1.81 and 1.86 on the 200

Thanks for the gear ratio info. I am still looking into this as I have a feeling it would would work fine.
