ok heres the deal 1985 40 oil inj cant get it to run over 2000 rpms just bogs its not missing has well over 100 psi comp rebuilt carbs full kits adv plate moves fine this motor only has 45 hours on if that one day fine next this prob never over heated green light on motor oil full i have a running 50 same year for parts what do you think i should change next

Sounds like motor may be going into safe mode(2000RPM max) due to high temperature or oiling system problem. If neither of these is a problem then maybe a false signal to motor? Otherwise, I'd start checking your fuel delivery system, tank venting, primer bulb, fuel line connections, fuel pump, dirty carb jets. Are your plugs clean and firing O.K.? Good Luck!
