Oil level sensor leaking on oil tank

See lots of people have trouble sealing the oil level sensor on the tank. Mine also drips when the motor is tilted. Has anyone come up with a fix??

Sure sounds like Yamaha poorly designed this feature.

Replacing the sensor usually solves the problem.
