hot horn comes on at fast and slow speed

I have an 0X66 Saltwater series 2001 255hp Yahama and the hot horn and safety mode kicks in about every 2 minutes, the theromstates and oil level check out ok, what else could be causing the problem? thanks for your help.

Is there a reason you posted the same thing twice?
At least you turned off your caps lock this time.
I did not know they even made a 255hp

You need to look and test things to find out what alarm is coming in.
Do you have gauges that would indicate the alarm?

Does it come on and then go off by itself?
or do you have to turn motor off and wait for it to cool off?
Do the RPMs drop or get limited while alarm is in?

How do you know stats are good?

when was last time you replaced water pump and PRV?
