1993 30hp carb issues?

Hi there, have a 1993 30 hp 3cyl. starts up with working the choke, runs; then seems to flood and slowly stall out. Won't idle. When I put in gear runs fine and steady; take off gas and it stalls out. Gas is good, plugs are blacker than 'normal'; seems to be a little rich? Fogging should be welled burned off. I also have sprayed some carb cleaner in with no change. Thoughts....thanks

spaying carb cleaner into the throat of a carb does nothing for cleaning the passages and jets, need to pull apart and clean properly and then reset like manual says
