yamaha 648

hi all. i have recently purchased my first boat and am relativly new to boating.
the engine is a 25 hp 648 2 stroke. i think it's a 1982 model.
firstly i would like to get some advise on how to flush the engine with fresh water after a day on saltwater. there is nowhere to put flushing ears. do i have to immerse the prop is a bin of freshwater?
also is there anywhere on the net where i can get a service manual for this odel?

I'm not familiar with that model, but there may be a screw on gearcase marked "Flush" if so then you can a screw in flush adapter part number ABB-FLUSH-JD-00. Running in a tub will work ok.

thanks mate. yes there is a 8mm or so screw which is labelled wash and have found the part.
