F60CET not revving

Hi there,

We have a brand new yamaha F60CET that wont rev. It revs to 5600ish when you use the warm up lever however when you have it in gear it only revs to 4200 on WOT. Have changed the props etc with no success. If you go from idle to full throttle really fast it will rev to 5500ish then drop back down to 4200.

Any ideas?

Needs to have fuel pressure and fuel vacumn test run to see if getting enough fuel, check for spark to see if firing on all cylinders, checked with computer diagnostic to see if have a fault code.

I sorted it, it turned out to be the test tank. Water was hitting the back of the tank and recirculating over the prop and loading it. Have noticed that E-Tecs do it too and only certain Yamaha's. 40 four stroke doest, 115 four stroke doesnt but the 60 does for some reason.
