Had the boat out yesterday and noticed the trim switch on the engine is very sensitive and sticking at times. When revs are reduced to tick over the engine would keep tilting itself automatically out of the water, the switch on the controls is working ok but the switch on the engine seems to over ride it. Had to keep son beside engine to keen putting it down. Does anyone know if the switch on the engine can be disconnected without effecting the switch on the throttle, it is on a 6M rib and do not really need the two switches as throttle is easily accessible when out of water. Advice will be greatly appreciated.
