4HP Yamaha - Exhaust gaskets

I am replacing the inner and outer exhaust cover gaskets in a 1997 4 HP Yamaha (4MSHV). My question is do I need to add any type of gasket silicone to either gasket. I notice that the inner gasket comes with a tacky covering but the outer gasket is smooth.

No don't need any sealant on gaskets.
