No not cost effective

WHAT IS COST EFFECTIVE
I HAVE 7200.00 INVESTIVED NOW
COST EFFECTIVE IS A NEW MERCURY
FOR 7500.00 THAT WILL TURN 5800 RPM,S
I CAN NOT GET BUT 4900 RPM,S FROM THIS
F80 MY DEALER SAYS THAT IS ENOUGH
BUT IT IS MY BOAT AND I AM THE ONE TO
DECIDE IF IT IS ENOUGH. I WANT 5800 RPM,S
45 MPH THEN I WILL BE SATISFIED
THANKLS FOR YOUR REPLY ON WHAT HAS TO
BE CHANGED TO MAKE MY F80 INTO AN F100

You would have to change powerhead, carbs and some elect componets. Have you tried diffetent props to get RPM's up

abut 7 different props
even had two of those made for me
no luck
why change power heads
yamaha micro-fish says same part
number along with carbs except for two
jets and one needle valve in each carb
electric components check the same
but i cannot tell if it has a restrictor
behind carbs or exaust restrictor
would like to know if this is the only difference
