f80 fuel filter elementr

i have a 1999 f80 yamaha. i want to replace the fuel elements for each of the four carburetors. i have no idea where they are at. do i have to take each carburetor or can i remove the intake manifolds . any help would be helpfull. thanks

You will need to take manifold loose to get to them, they are in the the fuel inlet fitting where fuel hose connects to carbs on each carb on the F75, F80, F90 and F100 engines. number 44 in this diagram 1999 F80TLRX Yamaha Outboard CARBURETOR 1 Diagram and Parts

is this a hard job to do. is it something a diy can do. so i do not need to take off each of carbs? just loosen the intake manifold

Remove intake bolts and pull intake back to gain access , will need to replace intake gasket
