Best to buy the Yamaha factory manual for your specific motor for about $90...That's a lot of money, but it's a better manual than some of the other, after-market books. I know, because I cheaped it out for a Seloc manual, and the problem is that it covers multiple motors in one book and it's sorta tough to follow! Good Luck!
I have a Clymer manual for my motor. It is pretty detailed with plenty of pictures and text to help with troubleshooting and replacing parts. And it's priced a bit better.
