red hue

Hey ya'll! new to the forum and looking for suggestions. I have a 2006 115 fourstroke and I have noticed a redish hue (almost like a light overspray) on the lower unit. It's not rust related and thought it may be heat related. anyone else have or had this problem and what was the fix? thanks

I'm hopin that's all it is. haven't had any alarms. it's gettin close to tournament season and I just had $900 in repairs to the powerpole and new fish finder. don't really need any more suprises!! Thanks!!
