sync and link how?

Im having some shifting problems with my 2003 f225. changed cables and no improvement. Someone said in passing to do a sync and link. OK great what is that and how do i do it? can anyone help?

As far as I know sync and link refers to syncronising the throttle position with the correct timing, so that as you open the throttle, the timing advances the spark timing. You need a shop manual, to do it yourself.

You will definitely need the manual to sync throttle linkage on F225 with 3 throttle body's on each side of engine. As far as the shift just put engine shifter and control lever in neutral and adjust control cable end to fit.
