Current Model 40hp 4 stroke nmea issue

Hi guys, I recently purchased a new 40 hp 4stroke yamaha and can not get the trim to read correctly on my Lowrance hds5x. The display reads at 124% all the time regardless of motor position, I have read numerous time on earlier models that to overcome this it is merely a case of joining 2 pink wires that are located near the nmea plug but this appears not to have 2 pink wires as described at all, has anyone played with these, had the same issue and found a solution?

If you have the F40LA model then the pink wires are tape togather by the electrical box.

Thanks boats.net, ill have another look, the model is an Australian F40FETL
(multifunction tiller, tilt/trim/long shaft).

Not familiar with that model's layout but it should be on engine harness somewhere.
