250 lower casing question

I have a 1995 yamaha 250. I would like to replace the
Lower unit housing as it is very damaged. Yamaha is
Showing that part as obsolete. Will a casing from a 1999
250 fit?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A part that is listed as obsolete. Maybe a aftermarket
Manufacturer. Would yamaha be able to get me a replacement

What is the model number of your motor?

model number is 250 txrt.

The lower casing had been repaired when I bought the boat a year ago and this summer the sides on the cavitation plate just fell off, the skeg is broken, and the zinc cannot be attached. One thought is to get it rebuilt but thought it may be easier and better to get a new or used one.

61A-45301-02-8D is listed as discontinued but it looks like there is one in stock in Japan, call boats.net at 877-408-1499 Monday and ask them if they can special order it.

Model year, from the feedback I dont think they will
Fit, but I will keep my eye open.
