I have this motor under completion for a future static run, motor was purchased incomplete in the search for a lower unit (got the whole thing for some more money)..turns out I completed it. sensors, pumps, ecm, etc etc.

here is the issue: head is installed, cams checked. valves seated, new seals, new gasket, torqued to specs.

pistons retracted to half cyl. timing belt not installed yet.

turn camshafts lubricated w/ assembly lube, cam journal spec exact. with driven sprockets installed.

Intake cam turns as expected ,(using a 3/8 ratchet on the driven sprocket bolt)
Exhaust cam turns BUT IT IS HARDER not extremely but DIFFERENT than EXHAUST. ..CANT FIND REASON WHY. RECHECKED TORQUES AND VISUALLY RE-INPECTED CAM CAP SURFACES AND HEAD FOR IMPERFECTIONS .

    SORRY IT IS F115TXRC 2004

    ANY SUGGESTIONS . THANKS!!

Make sure cam cap are installed in correct place and positioned correctly. Torque in sequence listed in manual.
