I have a 2004 200 HPDI. I add a stabilizer, PRI-G, every time I add gas. I try not keep gas in my boat very long only add what I think I will burn on a trip. Last ran my boat, on the water, Oct 31, 2011. Decided to run it on the hose Dec 24. I drained the VST first. At first I had gas coming out, but at the end there was a clear liquid, looked like water. I ran the boat and it ran OK, but I'm still wandering what the clear liquid was. If there was water in the VST, it should have been on the bottom, and come out first. What was this liquid, the fuel separating? I this some kind of ethanol issue? Any suggestions on what I need to do? I plan to run it in the water soon.

If the gas was dark, ice-tea looking; that was phase separating. I've seen this more times than I'd like. Looks like the PRI-G didn't work very well. I'd stick with Startron.1999 Grady Sailfish SX225 OX66

No the gas looked normal color. So would adding more stablizer and fresh gas help with the phase separation issue?

No, once gas phase separates there is no going back. It stays that way!
